                I cheered for CU my whole life on the competitive all-star teams.  I cheered 2 years for Jonesboro High School and 2 years for Nettleton Jr. High.  
  • ​What is your favorite part about your job at CU? 
                Making people happy and being able to watch kids gradually get better and stronger.  Also a plus being around something I've done for so long all day, everyday!!

               My 7th year of coaching, I became apart of NCA Staff, which was in the summer of '17. So, that's 10 years experience all together.

                I started cheerleading the summer of '09. I cheered for Cheer Eclipse Comets, Cheer Eclipse Super Novas, which was all apart of the Hutchinson Community College. I cheered for the Athletics Wildcats, which was apart of the Navarro College, Tribe Cheer Tomahawks, and Cheer Athletics Claw 6.

                I originally took gymnastics lessons so that I could learn to be more graceful playing ice hockey, but I ended up loving it so much that I starting learning Parkour when I was 13. Then, I became a coach here about a year ago, and I loved it!

                Seeing the kids grow into amazing athletes!

                I cheered at JHS for 3 years, CU lady warriors for 1 year, and currently I cheer for the A-State Cheer team. This is my second year on that team. That a total of 8 years.

                Meeting new kids and watching them grow

                I'm currently coaching the C.U. Apaches.

                I was cheer captain my senior year at JHS and I was awarded Best All Around Cheerleader.

                A very, very long time.
  • ​What cheer experience do you have?
                I cheered for 2 years in high school, 2 years at ASU, 6 years for NCA, and 2 more years for UCA. Then I became a coach. So, in total that's 33 years! I also cheered for the AR elite open team.

                The kids learning new skills.
